Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were recently scheduled to shoot in the same studio on the same day, and the staff and crew members had to ensure the two did not cross paths.
While Salman was already shooting at Mehboob Studios, SRK's shoot for a commercial with wife Gauri got rescheduled to the same day.
"It was only when the production team of Sunhil Sippy, who directed the ad, reached the sets, did they learn that Salman was to shoot in the same premises later that evening," a source told Mid Day.
Salman's crew too was extra cautious.
"Sallu didn't know SRK was also shooting at another floor in the studio," said our source.
Apparently, a few of the crew members were given the task of finding out when the other was scheduled to leave.
"At midnight, when Shah Rukh was leaving, a unit guy from his shoot double checked Salman's status," the source added.
Incidentally, this is not the first time a face off has been averted. The two have closely missed each other at Dubai airport and at another shoot.
We wonder when the two will bury the hatchet! After all friendship and animosity rarely last in B-Town.
